President and CEO: Garry S Saundh
Each individual is the end result of a biological line
of descent and social influences. The greatest influence
of Garry’s life was his upbringing in a family
of business people. He has learned from the early age
that individual responsibility is inseparable from the
success of any organization. As one of the company founder
and current CEO & President, Garry knows first-hand
the importance of what it takes to grow a business.
Garry has over 30 years domestic and International experience
with small to multi-national organization. He held positions
ranging from technical level to senior management. His
career started with Sherritt Gordon Mines and continued
with positions of increasing responsibility with companies
such as Shell Canada, Mobil Oil, Placer Cego Petroleum,
Asamera Oil and Gulf Indonesia Resources Ltd. Accumulating
from each day on the job is his broad expertise, depth
of understanding of business and sophistication in practical
matters. Garry knows what it’s like to be on the
firing line of business. People connect easily with
this practical approach.
Garry is graduate in Chemical Engineering from University
of Calgary, holds second class Power Engineering Certificate
and graduate from Banff School of Advanced Management.
Chief
Technology Officer: Lee Bradford
Lee has strong working knowledge of
all video compression technologies and CODECs including
the company’s proprietary technology and those
available in the market place such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2,
MPEG-4, Real Player, DIVX and Quick Time. This experience
is further supplemented by his extensive knowledge of
communications, computers & associated hardware,
Networks both private & public, applications, and
satellite communications. Combination of this knowledge
base has resulted in developing world leading applications
based upon its video and audio compression CODEC’s.
Lee, being one of the founders of the company, has the
in-depth knowledge of company’s technologies and
applications based upon such technologies. He has extensive
military experience in the areas of leadership, personnel
communications, discipline and work ethics and it reflects
in moving the company from a start-up to leading technology
provider.
Chief
Financial Officer: Jim Sherwood
Jim
has been described as a well rounded leader with vision
and with an orientation to action, one who is demanding,
yet people oriented and supportive; who is neither risk
averse nor reluctant to change; and one who is stimulated
by challenge. He has functioned in and dealt with business
and governments at every level domestically and internationally,
and operates comfortably in all circles.
Jim
is a Chartered Accountant having served articles with
the Provincial Auditor in the Government of Alberta.
He served as Secretary and as Chief Financial Officer
of $283 million large grain export facility in Prince
Rupert, British Columbia.He has also served on the R
& D and Technology Conference Advisory Board to
the Conference Board in New York, New York, U.S.A.,
as chairman of a Technology Task Force which had as
it's mandate to search out, investigate, pilot test
and implement technologies, processes, or procedures
with the potential to reduce costs, to increase productivity
or to generate income and as Marketing Director of ABL
Engineering Ltd.
Director of Marketing
and Sales – George Gonzo
As
a “Business Growth Specialist” for over
30 years, George has created the “80/20”
Business Growth Systems to help businesses generate
more clients and more incremental cash flow without
necessarily having to spend more on Sales and Marketing
than they currently do. George is one of Canada’s
most dynamic Sales and Marketing Professionals.
For
seven years, he was Chairperson of the Television Bureau
of Canada. During that time, the Board and Member Stations
set a new high in annual revenues of over $2 billion
dollars.
Mr. Gonzo was one of the Media leaders to introduce
the concept of “Yield/Revenue Management”
pricing to the Television industry in Canada, which
effectively changed the manner in which television advertising
in Canada is bought and sold.
In
the past three years, George has worked with a select
group of clients and sales professionals at CanWest
Global to help produce Canada’s largest and most
successful media integrated on-line auction resulting
in millions of dollars of revenue.
He
has also worked successfully with many Direct Marketers,
as well as Business-to-Business and Business to Consumer
Clients, such as Procter and Gamble over the last 30
years.
For
23 years, Mr. Gonzo was Executive Vice President Sales
and Marketing for CFCN Television in Calgary and as
Vice President Local and Regional Sales for CTV’s
25 television stations.
George
is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario -
Executive Development Program.
