Public Network / Internet
Broadcasting
Our
broadcasting software is the engine that makes broadcast
of video over the Internet and LAN/WAN work. The broadcasting
software allows the video signal to be compressed at
the source, transfer the compressed source through a
single stream to centrally located servers and broadcast
it over the Internet world wide or over LAN/WAN to your
audiences.
The signal to be broadcast can be either pre-recorded
video or it can be LIVE. The pre-recorded signal can
come from variety of sources such as VHS tape, Beta
tape, CD, DVD or digital signal stored on computer hard
disks. The live signal can come from cameras on location
or in studios.
Our software allows broad range of settings for the
bit rate (Internet speed), frames per second and frame
size. The quality of the video images is independent
of the broadcast and remains at very high quality whether
it is dial up modem, cable or DSL connection. For low
bandwidth applications the number of frames transmitted
per second are lowered. The broadcast of live event
over the dial up modem is generally conducted at 10
frames per second.
The Internet broadcast software removes the geographical
broadcast barriers and allow the video signal producers
to reach any or all markets throughout the world.
