Saving Your CANVID Project

To avoid losing progress, you can save your CANVID project at any time while working in the Editor. This keeps all your edits, camera settings, and timeline changes intact.

How to Save a Project

Once you're in the Editor after recording:

1. Click the menu at the top-left corner

2. Select Save Project or Save Project As

3. Choose a location on your computer to save your .canvid file

Your project file will include everything you've done in the editor, so when you open your project, you can pick up right where you left off.

Why Save?

Saving your project:

• Preserves all changes made in the Editor‍
  

• Lets you come back and continue editing later
  

• Enables you to export or Quick Share when you're ready

Once saved, your .canvid project file can be transferred to any computer with the app installed, so you can continue editing across devices.
