Customizing Your Camera in the CANVID Editor

Adjust your camera’s size, position, and style in the CANVID Editor with ease.

In the CANVID Editor, you have full control over how your camera appears in your video. Whether you want to reposition it, style it, or mirror it — it’s all just a few clicks away.

How to Access Camera Settings

1. Open a recording in the CANVID Editor

2. Go to the Camera sidebar menu

3. Use the available controls to adjust your camera’s appearance

What You Can Customize

1. Toggle Camera On/Off
Use the switch at the top of the Camera sidebar menu to enable or disable your camera in the recording.

2. Camera Positioning
You can move your camera to 8 different positions on the screen — top corners, bottom corners, center edges, and center screen.

3. Mirror Your Camera
Flip your camera horizontally using the Mirror toggle, useful for correcting orientation or matching viewer perspective.

4. Frame Adjustments
Fine-tune the look and placement of your camera window by adjusting:

  • Roundness – Set how curved or square the corners are
  • Offset – Move the camera slightly inward or outward from its anchor position
  • Size – Scale the camera up or down to your liking
