Camera Editor
Adjust your camera’s size, position, and style in the CANVID Editor with ease.
In CANVID, you can enhance your camera with a range of customization options designed to make your video more engaging and visually striking.
If you want to add a camera to your project without using a real webcam, try the AI Webcam feature.
Where is the Camera Editor?
To access the Camera Editor, follow these steps:
Record a video with webcam
Finish a new recording, or open an existing project that includes a webcam.
It's in the left sidebar
Click the Webcam icon to open the Camera Editor.
Start customizing
Use the available options to adjust your camera's appearance.
- Show Camera: Use this to switch camera visibility in your video.
- Camera AI Background: this feature lets you remove/replace your camera background with no green screen required.

- Camera Position: Allows you to move the camera to 8 different positions around the edges of the screen.
- Mirror Camera: Flip your camera horizontally to correct orientation or viewer perspective.
- Roundness: Adjust the roundness of the corners of your camera.
- Offset: Move your camera slightly inward/outward from its anchor position.
- Size: Adjust the scale of the camera.
Camera during zoom
By default, the camera reduces its size when zooming. Use this option to change how the camera behaves during zoom.
