Cloud Gallery
The Cloud Gallery is where all CANVID videos you have uploaded online are stored.
Ways to Access
Your personal Cloud Gallery space is easy to access anytime online:
- After Export: Once your MP4 video is exported with Create a Share Link enabled, or via Quick Share, click Manage Video in the confirmation popup.
- From the App Menu: Click the top-left menu in the app, then go to My Videos > Cloud.
- From Your Browser: Visit app.canvid.com and make sure you’re logged in to the correct account.
Main Page
Here you will see all the cloud videos you have uploaded in the gallery. If you have Collections (folders), you will see them on top.
Click the menu at the lower-right portion of any video to show the following quick options:
- Share: Allows you to quickly choose different share options for your video
- Copy Link: Copies the share link to your clipboard
- Rename: Allows you to quickly rename the video file without getting into the Media Details page.
- Move: Organizes your video by moving it to a folder (Collection)
- Download: Saves a copy of the cloud video to your device.
- Delete: Removes the video from the cloud gallery. (This action is permanent and cannot be undone)
Media Details
Media Details is where you can manage and share your cloud video.
Visit the gallery
You can do this by going through any of the access points mentioned above
Pick a video from your list
Browse your videos in the Cloud Gallery, then left-click on the one you want to open.
Manage your video
Your video's media details page will allow you to do the following:
- Change the Title & Description: When doing so, do not forget to click Save at the upper-right corner.
- Download & Delete: Click the menu icon at the upper-right corner if you want to download your video, or delete it from the cloud.
- Watch your video: You can watch your video directly from the Media Details page. Aside from its built in playback tools, you can also do the following:
- Change Playback loop and speed options
- Enable Accessibility features (Announcements & Keyboard Animations)
- Audio: Boost the audio to make the video’s volume louder than normal.
- Casting: You can cast your video to devices within your network.
Sharing Your Video
You can quickly share your video online by clicking the copy link button at the bottom right corner of the Media Details page.
Alternatively, clicking the Share button at the upper right corner will give you access to more share options:
- Share: Allows you to copy a link for direct sharing with anyone
- For Web: This generates an embed code which you can paste on your website
- For Email: Copy this link to generate a Preview link you can embed on your emails.
Collections
By default, all your videos are in the Cloud Gallery main page. If you prefer to organize your videos in folders, you can do so by creating folders called Collection.
Go to the cloud gallery
Access your cloud videos by visiting the Cloud Gallery.
Create a Collection
Click +New at the top portion of the page, just below the search box, then select New Collection
Give it a name
Type the name of your new folder, then click Add Collection.
Move a video
Back in the Cloud Gallery main page, click the icon to the right of a video, then select Move > choose your Collection.
