macOS Permissions
On macOS, the app may ask for permission to access parts of your system before you can record properly. This can include:
- Screen Capture
- Accessibility Features
- Camera
- Microphone
If Screen Capture or Accessibility access is missing, The app may ask you to restart it after granting permission. If you want to record system audio on macOS, you may also be guided through an additional audio-related permission step.
Getting the Best Performance
The app is designed to run on modern Windows and macOS systems, but your overall experience will depend on your hardware.
- For a smoother experience, newer hardware and more RAM are strongly recommended.
- GPU acceleration is important for recording and export performance.
- Some AI features have stricter hardware requirements than the rest of the app.

Local AI Vs Cloud AI
Some AI features can run either locally on your machine or through cloud processing.
- Local AI depends on compatible hardware.
- If local execution is unavailable, some features can fall back to cloud processing instead.
- Not every feature has the same platform and language support.
