Camera Zoom Setting
By default, your camera automatically shrinks when you zoom into your screen recording. CANVID allows you to customize this behavior so your camera appears exactly how you want during zoom moments.
Change the Camera Zoom Setting
Go to the editor
Finish a new recording, or open an existing project that includes a camera.
Camera sidebar
Select the Webcam icon in the sidebar to open the Camera Editor.
Find the option
Scroll down the menu and look for Camera during zoom.
Camera Zoom Options
Choose the option that best fits your video style:
Do nothing
The camera will remain the same size during zoom. Use this option if you want the camera to stay constant and visible at all times.
Reduce Size (Default)
The camera will shrink when you zoom. This helps keep the camera visible without blocking important details on screen.
Hide
The camera will fade out during zoom. This option is ideal when you want viewers to focus entirely on your content without distractions.
Changing this setting helps you create cleaner, more professional recordings that keep the focus exactly where you want it.
